Excellence in Service

Excellence in Service.
From the Rat Race to the Heavenly Race to your Promotion.

More and more people are not opportune to study the courses they desire in the tertiary institutions they attended, and an equal amount if not more are trapped doing jobs that don't give them the amount of income they desire to make a good living out of it, talk less of the satisfaction that they should enjoy.

A good number of the working class also spend most of the hours of their week at work, that is a lot of ones lifetime spent slaving away.
You need to be the best you can be where you presently are and be a person of excellence even while doing what you'd rather not do because it is God that promotes and not man, that is why it is written in Colossians 3:22 to 23,
22. "..., obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord.
23. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."

You need to find your cutting edge wherever you may find yourself now, doing something that will make you stand out from the crowdand lead to God being glorified, and work at it with every fibre of your being till you are emancipated.

That is why it is written in Matthew 5:14 and 16,
14. “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
16. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

God desires that you shine so bright in words and in deed that people will take notice of the extraordinary work and therefore the excellent spirit that you possess, and as a result you'll be able to let them know about God and His Son, the secret to your success and by so doingyou'll glorify the Father who knows how to reward His faithful ones accordingly.

Do you feel like you are wasting your life slaving away doing what you don't want to because you have, to make a living and get by?
Have you had to bury other talents and giftings that you have to make ends meet?

There's still hope for you.
Be an excellent steward of God and His ways
and as in 2 Timothy 2:15; in whatever business you are involved in always, "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."

Finally, as in 1 Corinthians 15:58, in your work place and wherever you find yourself, always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor in the Lord cannot be in vain.
