It is a modern aphorism and even a very important piece of dating advice that has gained popularity and traction in general discourse about relationships especially on cable TV shows, social media, dating blogs, etc.
Physical intimacy is usually simpler to initiate than a true relationship of commitment that requires a deep sacrifice of consistent emotional investment into a shared future that usually is not certain but both parties are willing to fight for it and make it work, no matter the storms that come against it.
Distractions and temptation are everywhere but the truth is that distractions & temptation are a matter of concern when a persons heart is open to such, because what one takes in usually determines what one will gravitate towards.
